Our corporate name “Gran Península” reflects the
life and beauty of the oldest California, one of the world´s most sought after cruising areas.

Management and ownership resides on the same team as our sister company, Baja Naval Boatyard and Marina. Since 1986, BN has proven to be a reliable option for the yachting community in Southern California.

As a huge cruising area in the Eastern Pacific (Alaska, U.S. West Coast, Baja California, Sea of Cortés, Hawaii, Panama, Galapagos and the Antarctic) develops and is more visited, Gran Península is a hub to provide normal and warranty service in conjunction with shipyards in Holland and Spain. Their supervisors and technicians easily visit us to work when necessary. Thus a megayatch does not have to travel half way around the world to be up to date and fully operational in all seasons.

Gran Peninsula is located within walking distance of downtown Ensenada. Our visitors may comfortably enjoy the distinctive Mexican culture, music, arts, crafts and gastronomy. The regional habitats included in the rather large Ensenada County, vary from islands and costal plains to inland valleys with mediterranean climate, alpine scenery 7,000 feet above sea level or desert in the East and South. Most grey whales are born and return yearly to the lagoons of the Guerrero Negro area. The region has endemic species of plants and animals. It has been featured in many documentaries such as “Ocean Oasis”.

Both Gran Península and Baja Naval endow local and commited NGO’s focused on kids with special needs in our deaf, autism and mental issues communities. We also provide elementary to middle school scholarships for kids from broken families or in poverty. If interested, we can arrange for your visit to these facilities.
