Gran Peninsula has focused on the boating community since 2005, as a full-service megayacht center. We haul out boats up to LOA 260' (85m.) , and beam of 52' (16m.) on a 2,500 metric ton, 16 motor, Lloyd's Register Certified Syncrolift (longer vessels could be accommodated upon reviewing the docking configuration).
Continuous keel support on a level cradle is the most gentle method of hauling boats over 150T.
As one of the largest non-military facilities in the continental west coast, from Alaska to Patagonia, we are able to dry-dock up to 3,000 linear feet (900m.) of vessels on our 14-acre yard. Gran Peninsula is also a facilitator for world human resources to work within our premises, for the benefit of your boat and budget.
Since Gran Península is located within walking distance of downtown, our visitors can comfortably enjoy the distinctive Mexican culture, music, arts, gastronomy and native crafts. The regional habitats, included in the very large Ensenada County, vary from islands and coastal plains, to inland valleys with Mediterranean climate, Alpine scenery 7,000 feet above sea level or desert in the East and South. Most grey whales are born and return yearly to the lagoons in the Guerrero Negro area. The region has many endemic species of plants and animals and has also been featured in many documentaries such as "Ocean Oasis".
Our corporate name "Gran Peninsula" reflects the life and beauty of Baja California, one of the world's most desired cruising areas.
Gran Peninsula partially supports local committed NGO's, focused on youth math excellence, Autism, deaf education, Down Syndrome, migrant workers, and a 200 strong youth orchestra and chorus.
